Best Time To Give Baby Zantac When Is The Best Time To Give A Reflux (GERD) Baby Her Medicine?

When is the best time to give a reflux (GERD) baby her medicine? - best time to give baby zantac

My daughter is 4 weeks. We have today received their reflux medication Zantac (ranitidine) - you twice a day. I wanted to start today, then it is to be in a position to * something to eat for the day would hold. But when I told him, gagged, and immediately got up ...... (No, they spit a lot ..... vommitted.)

Is there a time course that I should give the Zantac? ... before or after dinner? (He says he can be taken with or without food.) Gradually, he would be better in the inner cheek or throat of a jet injection in an outbreak? I guess they broke, because it tastes so bad and that is what I am anyway.

  1. What you need to do is to mix Zantac syringe between his bottle. To give a little of the cylinder and then inject some Zantac. Also, you should sit as far as possible in food and keep the atmosphere calm and quiet, that stress can cause possible to retrieve them.
We must not forget that you have a difference in the overtime, will not immediately see, is the key to stay calm and manage the environment at a time.

Hope this helps and good luck!

If you are breastfeeding and have the same techniques you with a bottle. Keep them manage from time to time to very small amounts of drugs and then back inside. Try to keep them as much as possible. This can eliminate the esophagus is probably not yet ripe.
Just try to maintain patience and calm as he felt the tension.
It is not enough to go fast jet type over time and little by little amounts. I'm sure I had very good taste, but if instead of direct linksBack forgotten in the chest after ingestion and continue to feed.

  2. My son is on Prevacid. Zantac did not help. I found it easier to use the medicine at the nipple of a bottle and put a little formula used here int he medical and suck it down like it was noon, and I was hungry. I took the morning and evening before bedtime had.

  3. With my youngest son, we gave him the bottle. This works well if your child spits. In this case, some drugs will increase, and you do not know how much we have.

  4. I agree with another --- is the best way to provide a nipple with a little water or formula. Suck quickly when they are hungry. Our baby is on Prilosec ... Zantac did not work and not eat for the taste of mint with the same tastes. It is much better than the Prilosec must flavoried bunch (in fact, love it!), So I recommend if your baby does not improve Zantac to try something else. Good luck! Reflux is better - my son is almost 5 months and it's much better now that they can sit.
